The Kitimat Fire Department is responding to a residential fire on Widgeon Street in Kitimat, British Columbia. The incident was reported earlier this afternoon, and emergency crews are currently on the scene working to extinguish the blaze and ensure the safety of residents.
At this time, Widgeon Street is closed to traffic between Kingfisher Avenue and Haisla Boulevard to allow emergency vehicles access and ensure public safety. Residents are asked to avoid the area and follow the directions of emergency personnel.
