Liberal candidate withdrawal

Statement from Liberal candidate Inderpal Dhillon about not attending Kitimat All Candidates Forum.

Members of the Kitimat & District Chamber of Commerce,

I would like to extend my sincere apologies to the Chamber and to the residents who were planning to attend the upcoming forum. Unfortunately, I must withdraw from participating due to the late announcement of my candidacy and the size of the riding, which requires extensive travel to connect with as many constituents as possible across the region.

Please know that I deeply value the opportunity to share my vision and engage with the community. In lieu of attending in person, I am will submit my responses and views on all the questions that were scheduled to be addressed during the forum. I want to ensure the people of Kitimat and Skeena Bulkley Valley region have the opportunity to hear directly from me.

If there are any additional questions from the public or members, I would be more than happy to respond—please do not hesitate to forward them to me.

Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to continuing to connect with the people of Kitimat and the Skeena Bulkley Valley region as I travel throughout B.C.
